Sometime in the early middle ages, a hunter named Ladimir was falsely accused of murder and executed. Now, his pagan gods have sent him to modern-day Moscow with a mission: he must use his skills as a hunter and his ability to read the signs that go unnoticed by most people to help a woman who has been charged with murdering her husband. The Hunter’s guide – unwilling at first – is Mikhail, who works in a pet food store.
