Innovated by the dancing movements of Sakuzi, the head priest MASTER CHEN of SHAOLIN TEMPLE is enlightened to conceive a new powerful martial art, which is jointly created by TAMIYA, a renowned Japanese Sinologist.

According to their tradition, Master Chen’s heir should go to the head disciple MA, an arrogant and ambitious fiend. But Master Chen favors CHIU, an endocentric honest guy who is potential in Zen Buddihism.

Since the scroll of 'Phoenix of Zen' is the key to master this powerful martial art, Ma tortures and rapes Sakuzi. He secretly practices the devilish 'Viper Fist' so to confront his Master. Fearing to be abandoned by her fiancé Sanka; Sakuzi keeps silence.

Although Sanka and Chiu join together and fight to practice with their best, they don't match with the 'Viper Fist'. At the dying moment, an unexpected faint but fatal strike by Sakuzi rescues them. Dying Sakuzi reveals the secret of 'Phoenix of Zen' to Sanka.

For the good sake of Shaolin Temple and for truth and justice, Sanka and Chiu stake their lives fearlessly again and head to face the ultimate 'Viper Fist' now. What will happen to them?
