"Tree of the Life" tells an intricate story about blood ties.

Wang Min (played by Li Ying) was a doctor in a factory. She was enthusiastic on the surface while in fact she was unwilling to interfere with others, and she looked coldly upon others.

She was a sharp-eyed woman who can often read others' secrets. Liu Ru-yan (played by Jiang Shan) was her neighbor, thus they had a thousand and one links. So she made every attempt to stop her son contacting with the girl. And she even did many inconceivable things.
