This play is showed in episode and sets the key figures from the good and bad groups as the main line. Each episode tells a single story. In the daily situations, by setting Family Mo and its knight-errants fighting against Tyranny Qin as the main line, the daily life of these knight-errants as the side line, in constant conflicts, this animation promotes the noble virtues of the good figures such as optimism, braveness, serving good for people, helping the weak and young in the form of making laughs. In the meanwhile, it also satirizes the inevitable weakness in human nature such as cowardice, pride, jealousy, ignorance, stingy, self-conceited arrogance, and so on. It embodies education in fun, uses anecdotes of the past to allude to the present, making audience educated in laughs, and letting them tell differences between beauty and ugliness, goodness and badness, and setting a sound outlook and values.

The story begins from the Qin Dynasty over 2000 years ago, when the ruler of Qin defeated the other six kingdoms and unified the world, the king exerted tyranny over his people. So heroes headed by Family Mo all over the world arose angrily to fight against him, which annoyed King of Qin very much and made his heart seized by a hot humor. In order to eliminate the forces against Qin, he sent out Prime Minister Li who was well-known for apple polishing and bad ideas. Li got genius in the "World of Evil-doers", head of bastards---Wei Zhuang. Wei Zhuang led four fool followers Chi Lian, Ghost Wushuang, King Wolf and White Phoenix who are always doing things so foolishly that they makes lots of laughs. They four formed a group of "Golden Evil-doers" and used various devilish schemes to unify the world so as to eliminate all forces against Qin. In a battle, the well-known knight-errant Gai Nie defeated "Qian Jun and Wan Ma"(meaning thousands of troops in Chinese) by himself. In fact, Qian Jun and Wan Ma are two persons, one is named Qian Jun, and the other Wan Ma. Knight-errant Gai took this task accidentally. In order to avoid Qin troops' tracing while not to be irrupted by his fans, with his apprentices, Gai joined Family Xiang, a well-known shelter for escaping, hiding, avoiding creditors or enemies.
