High-fed Yu Xinlei has been living in Shanghai ever since born and has led a prince like life. Qin Lang has strong interest in drawing for pictorials. He was cleaned all his money when he was cheated to a trip to mainland to discuss about publishing his pictorials. So he has to work for a short period to earn his ticket back to Taiwan.

Qin Lang and Xinlei encountered each other by a car accident and brought two people from different worlds to good friends.

Xinlei’s father went bankcrupcy and Xinlei was left homeless. She took the money and air ticket given by her parents and came to Taibei. The place she is supposed to live when she landed happens to be the apartment where Qin Lang lives. As Xinlei does not have any certificate verifying the house is owned by her family, she has to live under Qin Lang’s roof.

Xinlei had to look for job. The humiliation in work made her realizing that only money and power can protect her. Xin Lei finally found Kong Yanxiang, son of a rich family, a big tree to depend on.

Qin Lang’s feeling for Xinlei grows gradually. But he hides it deeply after he sees Kong Yanxiang, and the former fiancé of Xinlei, Yin Shangdong.

When Qin Lang determined to give up his love for Xin Lei and Xin Lei decided to give up her love for Kong Yanxiang, fate makes them to run across each other again.
