This is a first audio-visual recording of philosophies of Chinese ancient sages.
The Chinese culture, wisdom, religion and philosophy among others of the past 2, 500 years are carried in this cultural journey.
This series probes into the profound thoughts and legendary lives of such great Chinese cultural giants as Confucius, Lao Tse, Sun Tse, Mencius, Qu Yuan and Xuanzang by visiting their hometowns and interviewing relevant scholars and ordinary people. It narrows the distance between these ancient sages and today's China with the state-of-the-art audio-visual technology. They seem to be our personal tutors, teaching us how to manage our business and life.
It takes one year and endeavors of a large group of people including such top Chinese historians as Mr. Tang Jieyi to finish this production. The series itself constitutes a valuable historical and philosophical classical reviewing of Chinese cultural history.
