"Two stupid Eggs" is adapted from the Spanish comedy Torremolinos 73. Big Movie Ⅱ changes a lot in the aspect of plot compared with the original work, and it is more easily accepted by Chinese audience.
The movie tells a story that a couple with no passion any more begins to shoot a short named Newly-married Guide in order to make extra gains. They regain the feeling of passion in the shooting process that seems ridiculous. Wen Yao (acted by Guo Tao) is a salesman selling Newly-married Guide outside. After he is robbed, the talk with a thief inspires him that he should make DVD to go with the publication of the book, Newly – married Guide. Finally he puts his thought into action with the help of the odd and funny boss of a store selling photographic instruments and his schoolmate operating a publishing company of acoustics, which changes his boring life with his wife Xiaoyu and a series of unexpected troubles…
