"Women's Choice" tells about three girls, who are like sisters, still can be confident and smiled to life after experiencing two decades’ sentimental confusion and stumbling.

The story begins from 80s of last century, the three girls, Chun-ni, Hai-xia, Li Sai grew up in the same family. Though they were not sisters, they behaved more intimate than sisters. Having been undergoing 20 years’ extraordinary life, three ordinary women were looking for the answers to their own hearts.

Chun-ni (performed by Amanda Qin) was well-behaved and sensible from childhood. She was always the tolerant elder sister of the three.

During school life, Chun-ni was always a good student that all teachers like. She achieved outstanding records, and was honored with “good student in study, attitude and health” every year. If she did not catch up with the movement of “educated urban youth go and work in the countryside or mountain areas”, she would be able to have a better career and future than that of the present.

Fortunately, Chun-ni found a good husband ---- Li Weiguo who was able to take her dream to enter a university, and also got into her life loading all her wishes. From then on, she took him as her unique destination in life, no matter in good times or bad times, she would wholeheartedly help him, encourage him and support him. "One good return deserves another" is the wish of all kind people, Chun-ni believed that life would pay her much sweeter rewards. However, destiny made jokes to her one after another ---- she wanted to have a lot of children around, but she could not have a baby. Once she had been the model worker of the factory, but her prime life had passed away and she lost her job. And the heart of her husband, who is the pillar of her life, got further and further from hers.

The frustrating life tortured Chun-ni' kindness, and made her gradually lose all confidence. And since then she sealed up the heart and even abandoned herself. At this moment, her no-blood-tied son, who is brought up by herself, gave her warmness and courage to live on.Though she survived, her mind was sinking gradually in the misery. To prove her value, she chose a masochistic way to wholeheartedly do good to her kin, but beyond her expectation, the better she treat them, the more stress she brought to the people who care about her. And her husband, Li Weiguo’s sufferings made her feel more helpless.

Till one day when the shadow of death covered them, she suddenly understood that hope had always been her side…
