Loulan, a mythical ancient state buried under the desert somewhere in the Northwest region of China. For years, MAK, a Chinese archaeologist has been obsessed with the idea of uncovering the mystery of this vanished ancient state. His daughter JADE is not so convinced but follow MAK deep into the desert against all odds. Meanwhile, another Japanese archaeologist, YASHIDO has been watching MAK’s every move. However, YASHIDO is more interested in the gold treasures. MAK digs up an ancient wood text that holds the secret passage to the lost palace of Loulan. YASHIDO steals the text from MAK and disappears into the desert. MAK and JADE are in a race to find him…
