Fated
When the charismatic, eccentric TATTY, lose the beautiful free spirit AMY. He blames himself for her untimely death. He creates a statue of her which he places in the heart of a mystical burnt out church. He stays devoted to his statue for the next thirteen years, until…
New Years Eve, a magical night, the sky explodes with fireworks, the City celebrates and CAL, who is fleeing form two thugs, finds himself hiding in the derelict church. As midnight strikes, CAL out of breath and in a panic throws a brick to protect him, form the wild man TATTY. He misses and knocks the statue’s head off. A miracle happens. The statue comes alive, AMY falls to the ground, weak, naked, and confused, her eyes and CAL’S eyes lock on each other.
TATTY mesmerized, approaches his beloved----CAL scared out of his wits, runs away.
TALLY tells AMY that for her to stay alive she must get a kiss from CAL, before sunrise, or she will return to stone. So begins their search for CAL… Never before has a simple kiss caused such chaos.
AMY follows CAL, and tries to get him to kiss her. It’s no good; CAL acts like a rabbit in headlights, terrified by this woman’s advances. Meanwhile, TATTY finds himself in the most unlikely comical situations-seduced by a pair of gorgeous, hilarious drag queens.
AMYS attempt to seduce CAL backfires and she makes a spectacle of herself dancing to a Samba Band in a street party. AMY attracts the wrong sort of attention from the wrong man. CAL accidentally rescues AMY from her attacker.
TATTY finds a beautiful dress for AMY. He must now search the streets looking for her. By the time her finds her, a definite attraction has built between CAL and Amy, they seem to be in love.
TATTY is jealous and agitated. He takes AMY to one side. He tells her that if she kisses CAL, she’ll live, but, he will take her place, he will turn to stone.
The tension mounts between AMY and CAL, he wants to kiss her, she knows that if she kisses him he will die, if she doesn’t kiss him she will die, what should she do?
The film reaches an impossible climax as TATTY returns to the derelict church.
