After graduated from university, Gao Jian-ping worked in a Costume Design Company. For a chance, he met his old lover and middle classmate, Xu Li-ting, and the more surprising thing is that she was now the fiancée of his brother, Jian-guo. The colleague of Jian Ping, Qiao-ling liked him, but Jian-ping’s love for Li-ting made them always come into conflict with each other. When their relationship became subtle, Jian-guo’s former lover, Su Pei-qin appeared, and for a lawsuit, she sought help from Jian-guo. To conciliate Pei-qin, Jian-guo frequently came to her home, and they had a sex. Pei-qin clung to him, thus Jian-guo always came home late, which caused suspicion in Li-ting’s mind, so she talked this with Jian-ping. Jian-guo was contradictory, and their marriage was on the rocks. JIan-ping got the chance and made Li-ting attached to him. Qiao-ling saw Li-ting threw herself in Jian-ping’s bosom. She couldn’t stand, and asked for a leave to her home. Jian-ping tried hard and finally made Li-ting and Jian-guo became better while he and Qiao-ling were in a mess. After getting back to work, Qiao-ling attempted to get well with Jian-ping, but because of continuous misunderstandings, she lost her heart for Jian-ping. Jian-ping was in a low emotion and he found now, Qiao –ling was the one in his life. He came to Qiao-ling’s home and proposed marriage to her. Qiao-ling was moved while Jian-guo and Li-ting became reconciled. They began their new life. They felt so gratitude to Jian-ping. But one time, Jian-ping didn’t meet Qiao-ling in time for a car accident, and they were calling Qiao-ling’s name in the streets…
