Henry Thomas Goes Under

Henry Thomas has singed on to star in the upcoming A&E drama pilot Under. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charles S. Dutton will direct the potential series.

The story revolves around a young thug that joins the witness relocation program after being marked for death. He eventually becomes an NYPD patrolman, but is haunted by his past.

A&E's Tana Nugent stated that Thomas was "the person we'd been looking for" when he came in to audition for the lead role, which she referred to as a "complex character. He's very well known but also very fresh right now, and he's never done this kind of character. He's got the depth, and we're very happy to have him on board."

The pilot will shoot this coming December.
