Minogue craves more TV roles

Kylie Minogue plans to use her appearance on sci-fi series Doctor Who to re-launch her acting career.

The Spinning Around hitmaker - who shot to fame in Australian soap opera Neighbours in the 1990s, is hoping her cameo appearance in the hit TV show will pave way for more acting offers.

Doctor Who boss Russell T Davies says, "She missed acting and fancied that discipline again.

"You forget that she has been in Neighbours, so she is use to knocking out an episode a day."
