Obsessed fan of American Idol judge turns up dead in a car outside Abdul's house.

Paula Abdul
A woman who police believe was obsessed with television personality Paula Abdul was found dead last night outside Abdul's home in Los Angeles, reports TMZ.com. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Paula Goodspeed, and this isn't the first encounter she's had with the American Idol judge.
Early reports stay that the probable cause of death was an overdose of pills, but details have not yet been released.
Goodspeed had auditioned for American Idol twice before, one of them being a popular rejection from Abdul's outspoken colleague Simon Cowell. According to E! Online, Goodspeed had been obsessed for the last 17 years (just past Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" days) and had sent letters and packages to the former pop star.
TMZ says Goodspeed's parents contacted Ventura County sheriffs and told them their daughter was missing and alerted them that she had "an unnatural obsession" with Abdul.
In a statement released earlier today, Abdul said, "I am deeply shocked and saddened."
